Protected training apartments are a place where we teach adult life in practice! After leaving the orphanage, a young person is on his own. Without the support of loved ones, it’s hard for him to embrace the new reality, there is a big, scary question “WHAT’S NEXT?”. The “My place on earth” program provides 27 people leaving foster care with a place in an apartment, which for the duration of the project is not only a home for them, but also a space where they learn the basics of independent, responsible living – cooking, managing a budget, developing their educational and professional path, looking for their first job, dealing with official matters, preventive health care and spending their free time effectively. They also learn to build relationships – with roommates, neighbors and the local community.
After leaving orphanages, young people need not only a roof over their heads, but also care for their mental health, help in catching up with their education, support in directing their professional lives. Therefore, under the project, the wards are provided not only with housing, but also:
A comprehensive support program guarantees that we help effectively! Our young adults begin to believe that this adult, independent life does not have to be a frightening unknown, but a fantastic adventure! It’s wonderful to watch them grow every day, discover themselves and ideas for their future, and we can help them do it.
Thanks to the support of big-hearted people, we can take care of a better future for our charges every day:
We cordially invite you to join our foundation family and support our brave young adults. If you are interested in cooperation, please feel free to contact us:
