Working during a pandemic.

The Foundation is working at full steam during the quarantine period. The Independence Assistants are in constant contact with the kids and respond to their needs on an ongoing basis. We deliver food and organize the necessary equipment for remote learning. Due to the isolation we cannot organize workshops in a standard form. Therefore, we have moved all kinds of meetings to online mode. All workshops in the series “Academy of Skills” are conducted in the form of videoconferences. During the last such workshops, our charges learned what the process of becoming independent looks like from the formal point of view and what privileges they can use when leaving their children’s homes. A former charge of our foundation told them what the way to independence looks like in practice.
